At the age of 13-years-old, young Marquez began to develop his first short-film with the aid of Phil Miller, Artistic Director at The School of Arts and Enterprise. Along with his narrative filmography, he began to see documentaries such as Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II. Marquez was inspired to create some of his own documentary films.
His filmography itself is really extensive. Some of the work created by him cannot though from a teenager. Yet Marquez tries to provide a sense of caliber and professionalism.
Short Narrative Films.

As the mystery death of Myles Scott. (Robert Shields), a former Marines Commander, comes to an end. His son, Ben Scott (Johnny Ramirez), decides to uncover his father's death and within the way he confronts a terrible secret from the past that will change his destiny forever.
The Last Covenant has been brought to life by the young visionary director Jesse Marquez Jr. and with his amazing cast and crew. This is Marquez' first narrative film, it has been produced by The School of Arts and Enterprise and M. Films Limited. The Last Covenant premiered on May 31st, 2018 at The Covina Center for the Performing Arts.
